Terra Soul Music is accepting new submissions.

There is a criteria. If you don’t comply to the following then don’t send us music. We will simply return it to you.

We are looking for real artists that are interested in a successful career and are not afraid of a little hard work. At Terra Soul Music our record deals are a little different. We think of our record labels as a coop rather than a traditional label. We consider our artists partners. We work very hard at making our artists a success and we expect the some from you.

Criteria

• You must be in our genre of music. We focus on alt.country, Americana and some indie rock. Our artists appeal to a well educated, hip, tastemaker audience with above average incomes and well as intelligence.
• You have to have a finished master of at least 11 songs. We don’t supply finishing funds and we don’t give creative direction. You are the artists and you know what you want to convey and we support you in that.
• You have to have performed and toured before. You have to have a commitment and plan to continually tour.
• You have to be open to working with consumer brands as partners. We do not supply tour support. But, we do pitch our artists to consumer brands for sponsorship to support your tour. Through our marketing partner Mulitmediary.com we have great success in getting our bands sponsored.
• You have to have a MySpace.com page and you have to be actively working it; e.g. adding at least 100 new friends or more per week.
• You have to have a web site and you have to promote it.

What We Do In Return

If you are selected as a Terra Soul Music artist we will provide you with the following:

• National in-store distribution through Burnside Distribution.
• On-line distribution to all the digital download sites through IODA.
• National press on each one of your releases provided by In Music We Trust.
• In-house radio promotion to Billboard and R&R Reporting radio stations.
• Tour support through consumer brand sponsorship (sometimes)
